Animal health

Animal health, treatments and withdrawal periods

Treatments, vaccinations and deworming — individually, by group, or by shed. And a withdrawal rule that actually stops contaminated milk reaching the tank.

Detail

What it does

Health events

A standardised, configurable condition taxonomy — because the market leader's lack of one is a documented complaint from vets trying to compare across herds.

Treatments

Medicine, dose, route, frequency, duration, administering person and cost. Every treatment decrements medicine inventory with batch and expiry.

Withdrawal enforcement

Milk and meat withdrawal calculated automatically per medicine. The animal is flagged in the milking screen and her milk is excluded from saleable volume by default. That single rule is the difference between a clean tanker and a rejected load.

Group operations

Vaccination applied to a whole group in one action; deworming applied by shed. This is how it happens on a real farm, and software that insists on one animal at a time simply does not get used.

Schedules

Vaccination and deworming schedules with auto-generated due lists and overdue alerts.

Mastitis

Quarter affected, clinical score, treatment, cure or chronic outcome. Somatic cell count per animal with linear score, new-infection rate, cure rate and chronic flagging.

Trends

Incidence by condition over time, by shed, by lactation stage and by age group.

Questions

Common questions

Does it stop me selling milk from a treated animal?

It flags her and excludes her milk from saleable volume by default. You can override with a reason, and the override is recorded.

Can a vet use it directly?

Yes, with a role that deep-links to one animal and records a treatment in under thirty seconds.
